SiC Gamelab does not collect or share any significant personal information for any purpose with any party. We are aware of the vulnerability of our target users which are people with disabilities and special needs which is why we have this policy.
It is possible that during the installation of an app or game or during interaction it is necessary to have access to certain capabilities of your device (e.g. the microphone or camera) or to store or access some information on your device (e.g. a user preference, a photo or a music file). But we do not collect such information. It stays on your device.
The various distribution platforms (e.g. Google Play Store) may require user authentication or verfication procedures to enable downloading and installing apps. These procedures enable efficient distribution of updates later on. The type of device and the operating system are typically also registered in these processes and this is used for application maintenance and usage statistics. It is possible that the act of ‘buying’ (even at zero cost, an installation is often considered a purchase) or downloading is registered in the context of the distribution platform and that this leads to suggestions by the distribution platforms.
