What is the purpose?
This is a game intended for EMB clients. With this game, clients have the opportunity to participate in “snoezelen” (a form of sensory therapy).
What is "snoezelen"?
Snoezelen or sensory activation is a calming activity for people with a (severe) intellectual disability or advanced dementia. Snoezelen gives a certain degree of relaxation, prevents boredom and promotes interaction.
How does the game work?
The client is put in the mood by calming music at the start of the game. Clouds are also floating quietly in the background. The background slowly changes color from time to time. When he/she draws his/her finger across the colored screen, a rainbow appears as if your finger is mimicking a paint brush. The rainbows disappear from the screen again at a leisurely pace.
